The Storm of Advice
Emma did what anyone in her place would do.
She sought guidance.
After all, wasn’t that what everyone advised?
“Find the experts.”
“Follow proven paths.”
“Do what works.”
And so, she listened.
But the more she listened, the louder the noise became.
“Build your website first.”
“Forget the website, focus on networking.”
“Post daily on LinkedIn.”
“No, no — you need Instagram Reels.”
“Actually, start a podcast.”
“Better yet, run ads.”
Every voice spoke with confidence.
Every path claimed to be the answer.
Emma tried to keep up.
She posted.
She networked.
She brainstormed a podcast name.
She even drafted a website, though it felt hollow.
Some days, she did everything.
Other days, nothing at all.
And beneath it all, the quietest voice of all whispered:
“Is this really the way?”
“Am I just adding to the noise?”
Emma felt stretched thin.
A little lost.
And a lot exhausted.
She wondered if the answer was hidden — or if it even existed at all.
