Before Emma Called Herself a Coach

Long before Emma knew the word coach,
she knew how it felt to be one.

In every conversation, she found herself listening deeper.
In every encounter, she noticed things others missed.
The slight falter in a friend’s voice.
The unspoken worry beneath polite words.

Emma had always been this way.

Not because she had to be.
But because something within her couldn’t help it.

She carried a quiet gift:
The ability to see people — truly see them.

And though she never named it,
she felt it pull at her heart, gently but insistently.

“Maybe,” she often wondered, “this is more than just how I am.”
